Brulee Minx Creations started as a bit of an accident! I needed a hobby to take my mind off of work at the weekend. I used to do lots of craft activities when I was younger - things like macrame and pottery. A friend showed me some of the jewellery she had been making and I thought it would be something I would enjoy so, after buying a few books to give me some ideas and several hours buying components and beads on the internet - I was off and running. It wasn't long before my spare bedroom was being re-decorated as a craft room and I started making jewellery for friends and family.

So - where did the name come from? Brulee Minx was named after one of my cats who sadly died in 2008. Her pedigree name was 'creme brulee' but I called her Brulee. She was always a mischief and her nickname was Minxy. She was always fun and a bit of a poser - I could just imagine her wearing some of the jewellery so I named my business after her.

You'll find one of my other cats features too - the "Rocky Rumble" range is named after "Ra Ra Rumbles" - another little girly persian cat. I haven't figured out how to get the others mentioned yet - 4 more to go!

I'm still loving making jewellery - it's just a weekend hobby so there's a limit to how much I can make but I am planning on doing a few fayres in the future and the occassional jewellery party. I haven't put an ordering section on my site because I am limited in the amount of time I can spend on making things but, if you like my products and would like something made, please get in touch.
